CodingChiefs is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to deliver the client’s services to the tens of thousands of people who use it every day. We want someone who commits to serving products that’s both useful and enjoyable every time. The Duties and Responsibilities
working on various aspects of the client main web frontend,
working on various, dedicated libraries such as our custom UI library and Design System,
working in close collaboration with the team on new features and improving existing functionality, keeping in mind the security-, performance and maintenance aspects,
using your knowledge and experience in discussions about implementing UI strategies and reusable patterns.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Ideal Candidate:
5+ of frontend web development experience, preferably in a Scrum team environment.
Highly proficient with
JavaScript, including recent ECMAScript addition
React.js
Redux
Source control (Git)
Testing frameworks
A thorough understanding of security concepts such as XSS
Passionate about the latest frontend development technologies
A strong interest in UI design and implementation
Thrives in an environment that encourages open communication,
Excellent communication skills, able to clearly express ideas and information with clients and the internal team,
Straight forward, does not shy away from discussing specifics of the project, and is able to set a foot down when the situation calls for it.
Travel to the Netherlands to work on location with our client when requested,
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Mathematics, Science & Technology or equivalent.
